Disney World is known to be the land of dreams. The word itself reminds us of all the cherished childhood moments: the princesses in their tremendous castles, Mickey Mouse with his friends, and all the other magical characters in the pages of those storybooks take a living form as we think about Disney World.

Now, what to pack for Disney World is a fairly common question once the travel planning starts. In order to make this tour so memorable, the packing should be done cautiously. And to ensure that, here is a Disney packing list to make your journey eventful.

What to Pack for Disney World

Tour packing mostly depends on the season you are traveling in. Make sure to do a weather check of Florida at first. If you are traveling from a country afar, you would want this journey to be a joyous one.

First things first, your tickets and boarding pass should always be in your handbags in a separate compartment. Apart from them, you’ll need some other stuff. We’ll talk about them below:

Clothing and Accessories

Clothing is dependable on the weather. If it is in summer or spring, pack your favorite shirts, tops, and jeans. Dresses or gowns are optional, but if you want to look magical in the magic world, pack dress or gown. If it is chilly, do take a cardigan or sweater and coats according to your preference.

Towels, shawls, socks, all should be packed in your luggage. Shoes should be chosen carefully. Wear sneakers for the journey and carry a flip flop or a dress shoe along with you. You might want to take swimsuit or swimsuit cover-ups if you fancy rides in the water parks.

Accessories like watches, sunglasses, scarves, jewelry, hats should be packed too.

Cosmetics and girls are inseparable. Wrap in your liquid products like foundation, concealer, and shimmers in a plastic ziplock. Makeup should be packed in a separate bag, or small makeup bags are useful in these cases. Throw in your eye shadows, blush, lipsticks, and 2/3 brushes to look ravishing.

Toiletries are usually provided in the resort or hotels, but to be extra cautious, you might carry shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, lotion in your travel kits. Toothbrush and toothpaste is a must.

Deodorant, shaving cream, and razors almost complete all the essentials. Sunscreen is an inseparable thing on every tour. If you do not want to get sunburns all over your skin, this item is a must.

All trips are fairly mesmerizing till a mishap happens. So medications are a necessity while packing for a trip. Pain killers, anti-emetic drugs, antacid, pain relief spray, oral saline, band-aids, aloe vera gel, cough syrup, and anti-allergy medications like antihistamines are the drugs to pack in your luggage.

Documents and Gadgets

Paperwork and other documents are the first things that you should pack. These are better to be carried in handbags. They include boarding pass, hotel confirmation, credit cards, ID cards, etc.

Gadgets like notepad, laptop or tablet, mobile phones, and the camera should be kept in a handbag or backpack along with their chargers.

Snacks and Beverages

Usually, if you are touring from a far country by flight, you are not allowed to carry snacks in your backpack. But if it is a road trip dry food like chips, biscuits, nuts, dried fruits, gums, chocolates, popcorn, small cereal treats, granola bars, pop tarts can be carried to enjoy in the roads.

Also, it is very important to stay hydrated throughout the tour, so fruit drinks, water, coffee, and cold beverages can be carried in bags. Napkins, paper plates, disposable cups, plastic utensils, and trash bags should be carried to prevent polluting the environment.

Kids’ Packing

Kids’ dresses can be packed in large ziplock bags to keep them organized. Also, packing in different bags for every family member helps to find items easily, and that way, it stays in an organized manner. Make sure to mark your luggage differently, so it is easier to find at the airport.

Travel by Road

If you stay in the states and planning on a road trip to Disney World, make sure you have your drivers’ license, maps, guide books, insurance cards, small pillows, and blankets for a better journey ahead.

How to Pack Disney World Backpack

Now for the most amazing experience into the world of magic, you need to know what to carry and what not. Here is how to pack your Disney World backpack. Your magic bands or park tickets and credit cards are better to be carried in your wallet or purse.

Carry a light backpack and pack your camera, cell phone, hats, sunglasses, water bottles, umbrella, autograph book and autograph pen, snacks, pain medicine or spray, hand sanitizer or wet wipes, glow sticks and necklaces, pennies for pressing and hotel keys.

Also, if you are a fan of water rides, do carry your bathing suit or swimsuit cover-ups, towels, large ziplock bag for wet clothes, dry change of clothes, earplugs, goggles, and underwater camera if you have one. This will help you stay fully prepared.

Disney World is a great place for the kids to make a memory of a lifetime, although they might not remember most of it as they grow older. If you have a newborn baby, packing is the most difficult task for you. It is better to carry a separate bag for your child and make a checklist, so nothing is left behind.

Comfortable dresses, bottles, baby food, bibs, diapers, baby wipes, diaper bag, blanket, pillows, stroller, car seats if you are traveling by road, kids accessories and ID tags almost complete the list.
